The Women’s Team In Thailand!

The New Zealand Women's team have finished their final training before their tournament begins today at 6pm local time. Since arriving on Thursday evening, the women have been training daily, acclimatising to the Gerflor (exciting!) and to the heat. The team have also spent time bonding together, not least in the world's coldest pool!

With the women and coaches as prepared as they can be, anticipation is now building in the camp for the first match. Head coach Jon To had this to say, "We're very proud of how far this team has come. They've put the effort in, working hard to improve. They've taken care of each other. We know they'll leave it all out there on the court."

The first game starts 11:59pm Tuesday, New Zealand time against a tough opponent, the regular qualifier, Japan. Best of luck team!

The women’s national team arrived in Thailand at the end of last week and has already hit the ground running with training sessions, practice games, and plenty of time for team bonding in Chonburi before the first game.

Streaming Games

Streaming passes for single games (5.99 Euros) or the entire tournament (14.99 Euros) are available through the IFF App, which can be downloaded on you phone or accessed for your computer at http://app.floorball.sport. As at least three of the womens’ games will begin at midnight New Zealand time it is important to note that the streaming passes also allow for rewatching on demand for those who value their sleep or who want to relive every moment of each game.

Once you get the IFF App you will need to enter your phone number and a text verification code before you activate it. Be aware, due to several New Zealand phone providers blocking IFF verification texts as spam please email support@floorball.sport and request a code if you do not recieve one within 5 minutes. Support will provide you a code as soon as they can and then you can proceed by clicking “I already have a code” to continue to account set up. We strongly recommend setting up an account at least a day in advance of the tournament to avoid missing any games if you experience an issue.

If you are having issues streaming or want to enjoy the games with fellow fan we also recommend attending or host a watch party!
