2024 AGM Announcement
The Floorball New Zealand AGM will be held at 4:30pm on Friday the 20th of September, at the Ākau Tangi Sports Centre in Wellington.
All clubs, Floorball New Zealand members, and interested parties are invited to attend. We appreciate the opportunity to hold our AGM alongside the Wellington Floorball Open again this year, which gathers our community from around the country.
In accordance with the constitution, the two core committee roles of president and secretary are up for election this biannual rotation. Additionally all non-core committee roles are open for election to a one year term. These include; communications and social media, national teams manager, competitions coordinator, and club liaison officer.
If you wish to nominate yourself or someone else for one of these positions please email contact@floorball.org.nz detailing name, contact information, role sought, and any relevant experience. If you do not wish to take on a formal role but are eager to assist FNZ please also feel free to reach out.
The meeting will review the year, look to the future, and appoint the committee for the next year. At this AGM we are proposing the following changes to the constitution; those required under the Incorporated Societies Act 2022, to align FNZ’s financial year with a calendar year (starting 2025), and to make minor corrections to some language. A draft constitution including these changes was circulated to clubs in July and will be included in a meeting pack which will be published next week.

Following the AGM you are invited to join us to watch our U19 Men's national team play against Singapore in the Asia Oceania World Cup Qualifiers from 6pm, streamed live from the Solomon Islands.
We look forward to hosting our AGM in person however, for those who can not make it a video/zoom link will be made available closer to the time. Those eager to attend virtually should email contact@floorball.org.nz to be added to the attendance and to be sent a Google Meets link.
